Always creative since childhood, Sue balanced her academic pursuits (a teaching degree in Arts/Craft) with Dance, her first passion. This combination of Arts/Craft and Dance led her to a very successful career as a secondary school teacher until her retirement. During her teaching career Sue taught both the creative arts (art, graphics, textiles) and the performing arts where she specialised in dance from years 7 to 12. Since retirement with more free time at her disposal, Sue has been able to rediscover her own creative side working with textiles. As she continues to explore the world of art quilts with the same passion that she enjoyed for dance and teaching, she is continually learning and adapting new skills and challenging herself to grow as a textile artist.
A lovely walk opens up to this very tranquil and picturesque falls, near Zumsteins, in the Grampians (Geriwerd) National Park in Victoria.
