I am a self taught contemporary textile artist from Perth. I love to explore the amazing world we live in with its striking scenery and fascinating flora and fauna. Back in the studio I interpret these experiences using fabric and thread to create realistic pieces of art.
My artistic goal is to tell a credible story to raise awareness of the natural world. Unfortunately our world is under threat from a multitude of issues including climate change, pollution and urbanisation. I want everyone to appreciate what we have, so they are inspired to take active steps to protect it.
My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is held in private collections in Australia, Canada, Spain and Norway. I have won awards at Quiltwest, Perth Royal Show and local Art Shows.
