Today’s preview for Art Quilt Australia 2019 is another wool quilt – Revisioning the island landscape (of Harris) by Judith Oke of Victoria:
An impressionist landscape of the rocky hills of the Outer Hebrides where crofters have lived for centuries close to the land, sheltering in low, thatched stone cottages. The smell of peat fires hanging in the air. Inspired by memories of visiting the rugged Isles of Lewis and Harris, in 1988.
