Dianne Firth of Canberra has two works in Art Quilt Australia 2019. Today’s preview is from Secret River:
Australia is the driest continent on earth. Yet its dry inland regions hold vast reservoirs of underground water that are fed by infrequent, but torrential floods. The idea of a secret river, a river that cuts into the earth before it disappears underground, informs the design and materials selectionhttps://www.ozquiltnetwork.org.au/gallery/dianne-firth/
