Sometimes hope can rise from burnt architecture that has survived even in part. Devastating fires are a part of rural life but like plants they may survive in part and create hope for future re-construction with the section that is left still standing.

AQA2023 Preview is a series of daily blog posts from 12 July – 11 August 2023 that will feature an artwork from the Ozquilt Network juried exhibition Art Quilt Australia 2023.
The exhibition will be on at the National Wool Museum, Geelong, Victoria, from 12 August until 12 November. Opening hours 10am to 5pm daily.
