Today’s preview for Art Quilt Australia 2019 is a wool quilt by Norma Slabbert of New Zealand – To Klee-With Wool:
Imagine the quilts Klee could have made if he knew how wool glows in the colours of honeycomb, butter, berry, and bordeaux; lavender, mustard, mango, rhubarb, and raspberry; primrose, persimmon, peridot, pumpkin, and plum; egg plant, artichoke, garnet, and goldenrod; spring leaf, sun, salmon, and flame.
