Carolyn Collins of Berry, NSW was inspired by her surroundings to make her artwork Autumn Day on Victoria St for Art Quilt Australia 2019 :
The sun rises on a cool crisp morning and gradually warms the day until passing clouds cast lengthening shadows across the garden. When the sun returns in the late afternoon it lights up the brilliant golds and oranges of the persimmon tree.

AQA2019 Preview is a series of daily blog posts from 1 August – 6 September 2019 that will feature an artist and preview their artwork from the Ozquilt Network juried exhibition Art Quilt Australia 2019.
The exhibition will premiere at the National Wool Museum, Geelong from 6 September until 15 December 2019 and tour to Yarra Ranges Regional Museum, Lilydale, Victoria from 8 February-16 May 2020.
