Jennifer Bowker of Canberra entered Tangle on Tartan into Expressions, The Wool Quilt Prize in Art Quilt Australia 2025 . Jennifer writes:
Nature curves but people make straight lines. We take wool from a sheep and spin it to a thread that is knitted or woven. We weave with straight lines, grids of warp and weft. I dropped a skein of fine loose wool and nature took over, a tangle on tartan.

Art Quilt Australia 2025, including Expressions: The Wool Quilt Prize, is on exhibition at the Yarra Ranges Regional Museum Lilydale, Victoria from Wednesday 9 July 2025 until Sunday 12 October 2025. Opening hours: 10am – 4pm Wednesday to Sunday.
