Today’s preview from Art Quilt Australia 2025 is Kangaroo grass study – Number 7 by Alison Charlton of Brisbane, Queensland. The long, elegant seed heads of Kangaroo grass (Themeda triandra) are borne high above the thick tussock of leaves. Art Quilt Australia 2025, including Expressions: The Wool Quilt Prize, is on exhibition at the Yarra Ranges Regional Museum Lilydale, Victoria from Wednesday 9 July 2025 until Sunday 12 October 2025. Opening hours: 10am – 4pm Wednesday to Sunday.
