Quilt Title: The Outback Awakes

Statement: When rains come the desert ‘awakes’. The rivers run and flood the flat country. At first the water is cloudy. The earth is washed till soft and muddy. Eventually the rivers calm and the water clears. Some weeks following the deluge the land becomes green and flowers burst into bloom.
