Quilt Title: Landmarks 4

Statement: Documentation of the aftermath of the 2005 Illawarra bushfires near Stawell, Victoria. Patterns of the truck tracks sit on the landscape in an impermanent way, only to fade away with time and regeneration.
Materials: Light weight cottons. Silk organza overlay
Techniques: Manipulated digital aerial images which have been printed onto cloth. (Original images: John Kennedy – Stawell Aviation Services). Machine quilting with twin needles. Hand quilting.
