Art Quilt Australia 09Art Quilt Australia 09, an initiative of Craft ACT and Ozquilt Network Inc. is the inaugural exhibition of art quilts selected from Ozquilt Network members and Australian residents. The exhibition was held at the Craft ACT Gallery from 7 November to 19 December 2009. From 80 entries, 28 works were unanimously selected by the selectors; Meredith Hinchliffe, craft critic, researcher and writer, and eminent quilt artists Judy Hooworth and Dianne Firth. The artists selected were : Geri Barr, Sally Blake, Anna Brown, June Brown, Cathy Jack Coupland, Susan Cunningham, Sue Dennis, Ruth de Vos, Pamela Fitzsimons, Jan Frazer, Margery Goodall, Helen Gray, Alvena Hall, Cherry Johnston, Ailsa Koloi, Alison Levingston, Deborah McArdle, Barbara Macey, Alison Muir, Pamela Munday, John Parkes, Sarah Louise Ricketts, Margaret Ruane, Alison Schwabe, Greg Somerville and Paula Martin, Emerald Springs, Jo Steele, and Carolyn Sullivan.
