Statement:This quilt has toured for 2 years with the Across Australia Exhibition.
The deserts of Australia are fascinating places. The colour, flora, geographics and inhabitants all interact with each other to produce the dynamic, intriguing place that we see as we traverse these areas. I have tried to convey this message through textiles, paint and stitch.

Statement :While travelling in SW Queensland we experienced a dust storm. The wind blew and the air was filled with dirt. It was inside and outside, on our skin and in our eyes. There was a general feeling of melee.
